Human Resources

Purpose

To counsel and support employees, Elected Officials and Department Heads in the interpretation of the County’s Personnel Policies and Procedures Manual and labor contracts; and insure compliance by encouraging and providing the needed educational materials and training to comply with any local, State and federal employment laws. 

Human Resources is responsible for developing and implementing sound personnel policies and practices, benefits administration, safety and risk management, and for assuring compliance with County policies, labor contracts, and all other Federal and State personnel management regulations.
