Veteran’s Advisory Board (VAB)

The Whitman County Veteran’s Advisory Board (VAB) was established May 5, 2008 by Whitman County Resolution No. 068153 by the  Whitman County Board of Commissioners per RCW 73.08.  

The VAB provides advice and recommendations  to the Whitman County Commissioners on the local needs of the local indignant Veterans, including but not limited to local resources available and programs that could benefit the needs of local indigent Veterans and their families. Any Member of the Veteran’s Advisory Board, or the Whitman County Veteran Service Officer, shall aid applicants in applying for assistance from the Veterans Relief Fund.
